Enter the Voodoo Room for classic blues rock tribute

Worcester Editorial 27th Sep, 2017   0

WORCESTER residents are in for a treat when one of the UK’s leading tributes to the legendary Jimi Hendrix and Cream come to town.

Voodoo Room, an exciting power trio featuring some of the country’s finest musicians, will celebrate the masters of classic blues rock at Huntingdon Hall this Friday with their acclaimed ‘Hendrix and Cream’ tribute.

Paying homage to these first super groups, the band’s refreshingly energetic and unpretentious live show is not to be missed.

With the combined experience of playing with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Stevie Winwood, Duran Duran, Chris DeBurgh, Ben E King and Massive Attack amongst others, this is a band with real talent.

Formed in 2012 and, with standing ovations now the norm, they are taking wherever they play by storm.

Voodoo Room’s mission is to deliver the all-time great Cream and Hendrix numbers with a true passion and energy worthy of the classic masters.

This is definitively not a wig wearing, dress up, pantomime style tribute band – it’s simply great music performed by great players of genuine pedigree.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £17.50.

Call the venue’s Box Office on 01905 611427 or visit www.huntingdonhall.co.uk for more information.
