Feast of fiddlers taking a bow

Worcester Editorial 26th Mar, 2019   0

THE FEAST of Fiddles bandwagon trundles merrily on in its silver jubilee year with a stop at Worcester’s Huntingdon Hall this April.

Born in Nettlebed on Valentine’s Day 1994 as a one off special concert, Feast of Fiddles have now racked up 25 spring tours, 24 festivals and has seven CDs to their names.

Feast of Fiddles are a band of friends who take to the stage for a show performed with passion, joy and a liberal dose of fun.

Fiddlers Peter Knight (Gigspanner, Steeleye Span), Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention), Brian McNeill (Battlefield Band), Ian Cutler (Bully Wee), Tom Leary (Lindisfarne) and Garry Blakeley (Band of Two) add the large range of fiddle playing styles to the rock back-line of guitars, keyboards, sax and accordion – all held together by legendary drummer Dave Mattacks.

Feast of Fiddles will be at Huntingdon Hall next Friday, April 5 from 7.30pm and tickets are £23.
