MEMBERS of WODYS (Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section) are presenting the show of all shows, Les Misérables: School Edition.

Following on from their sell-out success, Annie, the 70 talented members of WODYS, aged eight to 18, are bringing Les Misérables: School Edition, to the Swan Theatre this week.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption.

It is a fight for freedom and honour and features iconic songs such as I Dreamed A Dream, Bring Him Home, One Day More and On My Own.

Ex-convict Jean Valjean is hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

Les Misérables: School Edition, performed entirely by students, is a show not to be missed.

WODYS presents Les Misérables: School Edition will be at the Swan Theatre until Saturday (August 6) at 7.15pm with matinees at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £12 to £15 at the Box Office. Call 01905 611427 for more information.
