Virtually same as Jamiroquai?

Worcester Editorial 5th Mar, 2019   0

SPACE Cowboy pay tribute to iconic British band Jamiroquai, bringing to life the music fans know and love with a live passion and energy only rivalled by Jamiroquai themselves.

Formed in 1992 and fronted by singer-songwriter Jay Kay, Jamiroquai rose to international fame in the 1990s as one of the most prominent faces in the London-based funk/acid jazz movement.

They are best known for number one hit Canned Heat and for the iconic music video to their Grammy Award winning 1996 single Virtual Insanity.

Space Cowboy truly reflects the ideals of the full live band experience that Jamiroquai have toured with to date. In 2013 the Midlands-based tribute released their live studio medley video while January 2014 brought them a full endorsement from Jamiroquai themselves with the video featured on the official Jamiroquai Facebook page.

This resulted in more than 10,000 plays in just four hours and thousands of comments, making Space Cowboy known worldwide.

Space Cowboy will be at the Swan Theatre in Worcester on Friday, March 15 from 7.30pm and tickets are £16.
