WORCESTERSHIRE County Council has received an £83,000 grant to increase biodiversity across the county.
The cash will help develop a Worcestershire Natural Capital Investment Partnership.
The authority outlined to the Environment Agency how it would work with partners and developers towards a sustainable approach to the ‘biodiversity net gain process’.
The grant will see aa framework put in place to ensure any future development in Worcestershire contributes to genuine long-term improvements for nature and natural habitats.
