STUDENTS at a Worcester school have broken their own record of shoeboxes filled for this year’s Operation Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College has filled 127 boxes full of toys, games and school equipment to brighten the lives of children less fortunate in Belarus this Christmas.
As well as the shoeboxes, students have raised £200 for Operation Christmas Shoebox Appeal to help towards the cost of posting the shoeboxes and for other items the charity is in need of.
The school has been running the appeal annually since 2001 led by Lee James, Area Leader for Religious Education.
