Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault at Drummonds in Worcester.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, sustained significant facial injuries when he was assaulted near the male toilets inside the bar at 2am on Saturday, October 3, 2015.

Police would also like to speak to a white man, approximately 6’2″ tall, with short red hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a cream shirt.

DC Robert Davies said: “We are releasing this CCTV image in the hope that someone will recognise this man who we are keen to speak to about the incident.

“Other lines of enquiry have not been successful in identifying this individual, so we are hoping that the public can help us. Anyone who witnessed what happened should call police on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident reference 285s of Tuesday 6 October.”

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website.
