City rider dies from injuries in hospital after crash close to Parkway

A MOTORCYLIST from Worcester has died after his Honda CBR600 was involved in a collision with a John Deere tractor lorry.

Police have appealed for information following the collision near Worcestershire Parkway station at about 6.20pm on Sunday (August 7).

Emergency services were called to the scene on the B4084 Pershore Road between Norton and Stoulton, just south of Worcester Parkway train station.

An ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and a Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car were sent to the scene.




A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found off duty colleagues already assisting the rider.

“The man had suffered significant injuries. After being provided with considerable care at the scene, he was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham where medics were on standby to receive him.


“There were no other patients.”

After being airlifted to hospital, the 34-year-old man from Worcester died from his injuries.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or captured it on dash cam.
