VOTERS in Claines will head to the polls on Thursday, August 8 in a by-election following the death of Coun Stuart Denlegh-Maxwell.
The Conservative councillor died last month at the age of 60 and Worcester City Council has confirmed the poll will take place next month.
Coun Denlegh-Maxwell retained the seat for the Conservatives in the 2018 election for the seat by 62 votes from Liberal Democrat Mel Allcott.
To vote on the day Claines residents need to make sure they are on the electoral register by Tuesday, July 23.
