A DRIVER was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop after police tactically brought a car to a standstill on the M5 in Worcester.
The officers from Worcestershire Operational Policing Unit (OPU) sprung into action last night when the driver refused to pull over for officers on the southbound carriageway near Junction 7.
The driver tried to break free so the officers performed a ‘TPAC’ manoeuvre to bring the vehicle to a stop earlier today.
A TPAC involves police vehicles pulling alongside and in front of a vehicle to tactically bring it to a safe stop.
The VW Golf was also found to be cloned when the officers caught up with it.
