Find Fluffy helps City Signs raise cash for county cancer trust

Worcester Editorial 18th Jan, 2022   0

AS PART of their 60th anniversary celebrations, City Signs Ltd pledged to support Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, with a series of fundraising activities including the #FindFluffy social media campaign which saw national interest for their quirky approach to raising awareness.

Having raised £1,316 to help support families who have been given a devastating cancer diagnosis, the challenges of fundraising during the COVID-19 pandemic, mark this as a great achievement.

The ‘Find Fluffy’ Campaign which launched in May 2021, involves supporters requesting a Fluffy via the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust website and making a suggested donation of £5.

Then a competition ran throughout the year for those who shared their photos on social media of Fluffy in the most unusual places and then posted them with the hashtag #findfluffy.

The winner of the best #findfluffy photo, Sandy Burt from Phonesworcs, was announced at City Signs delayed anniversary party and he was the proud winner of a voucher from Anja Potze Fine Jewellery Ltd in Worcester.

Darren Wilkins, managing director at City Signs said: “The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of a ride, as it has been for many businesses, and charities have been hit particularly hard during the COVID-19 pandemic with fundraising events being cancelled. Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust acts as a critical lifeline to families across the region so we wanted to do all we can to provide support.”
