A BUSY city centre street will be closed tonight to allow a burst water main to be repaired.
Foregate Street will be completely closed from 7pm this evening to allow Seven Trent to undertake work to repair the main.
No residents or businesses are without a water supply because of the problem but traffic is again expected to be busy on surrounding roads.
Motorists are being asked to follow diversions which are set to be in place this afternoon.
A Severn Trent spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for the inconvenience this causes and will work as quick as we can to get everything back to normal.”
