Four arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Worcester stabbing

FOUR people, including two 17-year-old teenagers, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident in Worcester.

Police were called to Park Street shortly before 11pm on Wednesday (May 25) where it was reported a 34-year-old man had been stabbed in the stomach.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with serious internal injuries though they are not considered to be life threatening.

West Mercia Police have revealed following a search two men aged 20 and 21, and two 17-year-old boys were arrested and taken into custody where they remain.




Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it.

Insp Fergus Green said: “This was a violent incident which has left a man with serious injuries and we are determined to find out what happened and bring those responsible to justice.


“If you saw anything or have any information, we urge you to come forward. Any information you give would be treated in the strictest confidence.”
