Give voice to your talents

Worcester Editorial 14th Oct, 2020   0

A RECRUITMENT drive has been launched by Worcester Cathedral Voluntary Choir.

Boys aged seven to 12 are encouraged to join a rehearsal and service at Worcester Cathedral this Sunday October 18, 2020.

Musical director Dr Ed Jones, said: “We are looking to find the best singers to offer them a place in the choir. I’d encourage any boy to try out the choir and see what a brilliant thing it is to be involved in.”

The Cathedral Precentor, the Reverend Canon Dr Michael Brierley, added: ‘This is the most fantastic opportunity – the Cathedral Voluntary Choir offers all the benefits of making music in an incredible building, with pocket money to boot.”

‘Be a Boy Chorister For An Afternoon’ runs from 2pm to 5pm.

For further information and to book a free space, email Dr Ed Jones at [email protected].

‘Be A Girl Chorister For An Afternoon’ for girls aged 10 to 15 is on January 23, 2021.
