Good causes set to gain from evening of music

Worcester Editorial 10th May, 2018   0

A CHARITY concert to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support will be given by Worcester Male Voice Choir next Saturday, May 19.

The event will take place at 6.45pm at Hampton Lovett Village Hall, Droitwich.

It will have special relevance for the choir’s director Nicholas Wright who lives in the village and will be shortly retiring from his role.

As well as the music itself the concert will also provide a good chance for residents to celebrate the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which takes place earlier in the day.

St Richard’s Hospice fund-raiser Charlie Homer said: “This is set to be a wonderful evening and we are very grateful to the organisers and concert-goers for supporting our care by raising funds in this way.”

Tickets, which are £15, include wine and canapes.

They are available from Sue Crow on 01905 772850 or 07889 826370 or Rachel Wyatt on 01905 779091.
