AN ACCLAIMED Worcester folk band are returning to the city for the first time in two years to play a special gig.

BBC Radio Two ‘Young Folk Award’ nominees’ Granny’s Attic, will perform in their hometown on Saturday, April 23 at the Worcester Arts Workshop.

The trio of Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne, George Sansome and Lewis Wood, are delighted to showcase their variety of traditional folk music at the popular city venue after spending the past two years touring across the UK.

The musicians, who were students at Bishop Perowne CE College, have recently supported the Roving Crows and their music has been described by Jon Boden from Spiers and Boden as ‘great tunes full of energy’.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10 for adults and £7 for seniors, students and children under 16.
