ONE OF the highest-rated care homes in the Worcester is about to celebrate its first birthday.
Perry Manor Care Home, on Charles Hastings Way, will host a garden party on Friday (June 19) and will open their doors to the public to mark the occasion.
The anniversary celebration will coincide with the home’s open day and will include activities for people of all ages to enjoy, such as boules, table-top board games and live music.
Mike Dearn, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “Since we first opened the doors in June 2014, we have welcomed a total of 55 residents to Perry Manor for long-term or respite care.
“There have been so many highlights over the last year and our first anniversary is a very exciting milestone for everyone.
“We’re privileged to have the opportunity to care for our wonderful residents who have made Perry Manor their home and to provide support to their families.
“The party is a big thank-you to our residents and their families and friends and also our amazing staff who endeavour to provide the best possible care all year round.
“We have planned a fun day for all the family and a warm welcome awaits the people of Worcester.”
