THE CANDIDATES aiming to be Worcester’s next MP will face each other again at an election hustings being staged by Worcestershire’s YMCA.
Conservative Robin Walker, Labour’s Joy Squires, James Goad of UKIP, Federica Smith of the Liberal Democrats and Louis Stephen of the Green Party will face off next Friday (April 24) from 3pm at YMCA Worcester on Henwick Road.
The event will take the form of a ‘question time’ panel discussion whereby an independent chair will ask the candidates a series of varied questions on a number of subjects that have been prepared beforehand.
Organisers currently anticipate around eight questions with each candidate given a couple of minutes to answer the question and give their parties views on the matter raised.
The questions will not just on the subject of young people but will enable attendees to fully understand each parties views on a variety of subjects as mentioned.
Organisers hope the event will last for 90 minutes and as part of the hustings have invited young people from the YMCA as well as the wider community.
