Man suffers broken ankle after Worcester assault

A 38-YEAR-OLD man suffered a broken ankle and a broken tooth following an assault on The Cross.

Witnesses are being sought to the incident which took place in Worcester at about 1.15am on Sunday (December 9).

An altercation is believed to have taken place between a group of around eight men opposite the Slug and Lettuce.

The victim suffered a broken ankle in two places and a broken tooth. He was taken to hospital for treatment.




Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the altercation or who was in the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 51S of 9 December
