MAYOR of Worcester Coun Adrian Gregson was on hand to cut the ribbon on a new £3million studio and conference venue for the city.
Midland Road Studios in Progress House in Great Western Avenue formally opened its doors on Friday (May 27) in a ceremony attended by Worcester’s first citizen and dignitaries such as David Broster, head of the University of Worcester’s School of Arts.
Boasting state-of-the-art digital recording spaces, editing suites, conference rooms and dedicated viewing areas, the studio is available for hire and is also supporting the School of Arts at the University of Worcester
It will serve as the headquarters for the Marketing and Technologies Group and will see the creation of 10 further jobs in addition to the 50 staff already employed.
