FORMER international referee Nigel Owens was the guest of honour as a county group raised more than £5,000 for charities across Worcestershire.
The Worcestershire Ambassadors, sponsored by BRI Wealth Management, saw more than 140 people pack into the Graeme Hick pavilion at Worcestershire CCC’s New Road home for an evening of fund-raising.
Mr Owens entertained guests with tales from on and off the pitch as the Ambassadors continued their rich vein of cash collection for good causes across Worcestershire.
The group has been raising money throughout 2022 so far, all of which will go to charities and good causes within the county.
Ambassadors fund-raisers have already raised and distributed more than £1million so far.
Andy Gillett, head of wealth management advice at BRI Wealth Management, said “It was an entertaining evening with a fantastic speaker.
“We were delighted to sponsor the evening and help raise a significant amount which will all go to local charities.”
