A GROUP of city college students are celebrating after earning places at the country’s two top universities.

Tara Milne, Sam Hodson, Aimee Drescher and Elliot Brown from Worcester Sixth Form College, have all been accepted by Oxford and Cambridge University.

Tara will read Materials Science at Mansfield College Oxford, Sam will study Theology at St Benet’s Hall, Oxford and Elliot has been offered a place at Trinity College Cambridge to read Mathematics.

Aimee is currently studying in Germany and will be taking a gap year before studying English at Lucy Cavendish College Cambridge.




Principal, Michael Kitcatt, said: “The success of these students is thoroughly deserved.

“It reflects the hard work of the students and the quality of teaching and learning within the college.


“These achievements form part of our continued record of Oxbridge success, with forty nine students having received offers of places over the last seven years.”
