Man arrested on suspicion of attempted rape in Worcester car park

A TWENTY TWO-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape in Worcester city centre.

The incident involved a man and woman and is believed to have happened on Thursday, July 20 between 4pm and 5.30pm, on the fifth floor lift lobby area of St Martins Gate car park.

The man, who has been released under investigation, is described as white, with a slim build and was wearing grey tracksuit top and bottoms with a red t-shirt underneath.

The woman is described as white, aged 20 with shoulder length blond hair and a slim build, and was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded top.




They were both sat on the floor and she was holding a bottle of squash.

It is believed that there were people walking around the area at the time and West Mercia Police is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call them on 101, referencing incident 648S 200717.
