Serving up a networking chance

Worcester Editorial 14th Aug, 2019   0

A NETWORKING event in the heart of the city centre is looking to make a racket by using tennis to help people meet new contacts in the local business community.

The GameSetandMATCH event is taking place at the Royal Porcelain Works on Tuesday (August 20) from 5.30pm.

Run by Next Generation of Networking, the event promises to help people looking for a different way to meet new contacts without the awkwardness of traditional networking.

There are no tennis whites required, as it’ll all take place inside Henry Sandon Hall where there’s more than enough room for a mini court and a couple of other tennis themed activities that will get people chatting.

Organisers Rich Hurst and Daniel Lewis have been running the ice-breaking events for more than two years and hope the new event will prove popular.

“We’ve been thinking about how it can help people break the ice and meet new people without any pressure,” Rich said.
