Sleigh bells ring as charity fund-raiser launched

Worcester Editorial 22nd Oct, 2013 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

IT MAY seem like just a matter of minutes since we put the sun loungers away, but sleigh bells were ringing in the city this week with the launch of a popular charity fund-raiser.

This year’s Cards For Good Causes was unveiled in Old St Martin’s Church in the Cornmarket with an array of fabulous Christmas cards on sale.

Proceeds will go to a number of national charities along with four local charities – Friends of Worcestershire Royal Hospital, the Cobalt Unit Appeal Fund in Cheltenham, Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and the Friends of Worcester Cathedral.

The shop is open from 9.30am until 3.30pm, Monday to Saturday, until December 17.
