Tickets on offer for Play it Cool at Huntingdon Hall

Worcester Editorial 12th Nov, 2018   0

AN EXCITING evening to celebrate six decades since a nervous young man called Ronald Wycherley first walked onto the stage to sing his own self-penned songs is coming to the city.

Wycherley would go on to become the one and only Billy Fury and promoters Pat Young and John Banner have come together to celebrate a moment in music with ‘Play it Cool’ at Huntingdon Hall.

The show bears the title of one of the many film’s Fury starred in away from music and features leading tribute artists Rob Dee, Tanya Taylor, Steve Conway and the Rock Til Ya Drop band of which Dee is the lead singer.

A night of classic 50s rock and roll is on offer and will be headlined by Dee who has been paying homage to his idol Billy Fury for nearly 20 years in the UK and across the world.

Established vocalist Tanya Taylor will be turning her talents of twenty years on the circuit to bringing the music of Helen Shapiro to life once again while Steve Conway will be taking good care with the music of Bobby Vee.

Steve has supported many top headline acts over the years and was honoured at the Blackpool Ultimate Tributes Show with the title of Europe’s number one Bobby Vee tribute artist.

Rock Til Ya Drop was formed three years ago and have worked on their music and sets before hitting the road to wide acclaim with shows across the country.

Tickets for the show have already proved popular with members of the Fury family also in attendance for this must-see show.

The evening runs from 7.30pm to 10pm next Saturday (November 24) at Huntingdon Hall.

Tickets for the show are £15 and are available from the Worcester Live Box Office on 01905 611427.
