Valuable items stolen from Worcestershire property

A NUMBER of valuable items have been stolen from a property in Worcestershire.

The burglary, which occurred on Tuesday, January 26 in Gooms Hill, Abbots Morton, resulted in a long list of items being taken, ranging from silverware to decorative ornaments.

The unknown offender or offenders forced entry to the property between 8:50pm and 9:45pm.

Among the items taken were a pair of silver mounted glass claret jugs, a 12-piece set of silverware, a silver plated five foot tall elephant, a Royal Worcester pedestal bowl, a pair of George III candlesticks, a set of eight goblets and a pair of glass Georgian decanters.




Police are urging specialists in the antiques trade to remain vigilant should they be offered any of the above items.
