THIS is the moment a Claines pensioner was welcomed home by neighbours after he won his three-week battle against the coronavirus.
Dave Ray returned back to his home in the village to deafening cheers from delighted neighbours to mark a triumphant end to his fight against the COVID-19 virus.
The 81-year-old was admitted to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital last month and spent more than three weeks fighting the disease which has so far claimed the lives of nearly 100 people in the county.
Step-daughter Laura Grist shared the video on Facebook and said: “The NHS staff at the Royal are amazing for getting him home to my mum. We are eternally grateful.”
