A WORCESTER man charged with the attempted murder of a 53-year-old woman has appeared in court.
Iain Farrimond, of Battenhall Road, appeared at Redditch Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) where he indicated he would plead guilty to the charge.
The 53-year-old was charged with the offence yesterday (Monday) following his arrest on Battenhall Road on Thursday morning (May 26) after the incident which saw the victim taken to hospital with stab wounds
Farrimond was remanded in custody and will appear at Worcester Crown Court in the next 48 hours.
A provisional plea and trial preparation hearing will be held on July 4.
