Worcestershire Council cabinet reshuffle sees new roles at County Hall

THE APPOINTMENT of a new highways boss for Worcestershire came as County Hall leader Coun Simon Geraghty reshuffled his cabinet.

Coun Alan Amos, Coun Tony Miller and Coun Matt Dormer have left their roles with Coun Tracey Onslow, Coun Richard Morris and Coun Rouse being elevated to the top table.

Former education boss Coun Marcus Hart will take over as deputy leader of the council, replacing Coun Adrian Hardman who will retain his Adult Social Care brief.

Coun Geraghty said: “The refreshed cabinet will enable a renewed focus on our priorities with an opportunity to inject some new ideas, whilst ensuring we have the right blend of experience within the team.”
