Youngsters can enjoy free sport sessions this summer

Worcester Editorial 16th Jul, 2017   0

A WORCESTER leisure centre is offering a free multi-sports programme to youngsters this summer.

Freedom Leisure will be offering the programme to children aged two to 18, from Monday, July 24 to Friday, August 25.

Sport lovers will be able to try their hand at football, tennis, kwik cricket, soft play and general games, across 14 city venues.

All sessions will be delivered by qualified and experienced coaches and no booking is required.

Matthew Rogers, Freedom Leisure active communities manager, said: “We’re excited to see how many children attend these summer sessions, as our Easter scheme attracted more than 700 youngsters.

“This is quite a success story and we believe the area is lucky to have these free activities to help keep children fit and active during the school holidays, whilst supporting parents in keeping their children happy and entertained.”
