Worcester Editorial 30th Jan, 2017   0

A POPULAR Worcester youth musical theatre group are setting the stage alight this winter.

Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section (WODYS) are currently on tour taking their ‘Now That’s What I Call WODYS!’ cabaret to residential homes, retirement complexes, hospices and Women’s Institutes across the city.

The group recently performed classics such as ‘Flash Bang Wallop’, ‘Man In The Mirror’ and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ to residents at Meadow Court, in Ronkswood.

The youngsters are set to perform at Noble House, in St John’s, Brookthorpe Close, in Warndon and at Worcester Snoezelen this month.

The tour comes in preparation for their summer show of Whistle Down the Wind.

60 WODYS members, aged 8 to 18, will perform the famous play at the Swan Theatre from Tuesday, August 1 to Thursday, August 5.
