WORCESTER City will be looking for their first away victory of the season when they take on fellow struggler’s Oxford City at Marsh Lane tomorrow (Saturday) in their Skrill North Conference encounter, 3pm kick off.
With both sides having won just one league game so far this season, it will be Oxford that go in slightly more confident, on the back of three wins on the bounce in all competitions.
City, however, have only lost one of their last eight games, including six clean sheets along the way and know that victory away from home could lift them as high as 12th place, if results go their way.
Danny Glover will be pushing for a start for the visitors following his goal and winning a penalty in his side’s 2-0 victory at Rugby on Tuesday (October 15), with recent loan signings Niall Thompson and Reece Hales also in contention.
