Gold on the game - Sale

Worcester Editorial 6th Apr, 2017   0

WARRIORS travel to Sale Sharks tomorrow night knowing a win wouldn’t just all but secure Premiership safety, but could also see them leapfrog their Lancashire opponents in the table.

The AJ Bell Stadium is a tough place for any team to play, but director of rugby Gary Gold has seen his side pick up three wins from six across all competitions, which includes three losing bonus points.

Gold claims has has not watched the 34-34 tie between the sides back in September, which saw Warriors collapse in the latter stages to allow Sale to share the spoils.

But how confident is the Worcester chief in weathering the storm up north?

Warriors centre Ben Te’o returned to camp this week after spending eight weeks with England in the 6 Nations.

What does Gold think he can bring to the team as the club enter the tail end of the campaign?

And what are Te’o’s aims now he is back in Worcester?
