MATCH SUMMARY: Worcester Warriors claim their first silverware of the season with an impressive display to see off Doncaster Knights.




The match was all but won by half-time as Worcester powered into a 29-0 lead thanks to tries from Dean Hammond, Alex Grove, JB Bruzulier and Dan George.

Doncaster got on the board with a try from Ben Hunter, but Warriors rounded off a devastating display with two penalties from Tiff Eden. Thanks for following.

77min – Doncaster looked almost certain to score as they created a two on one, with Tyson Lewis sprinting clear, but Charlie Mulchrone got back brilliantly to produce a try-saving tackle. Worcester have also forced a penalty. Not long left now.

-A calamity of errors from Doncaster gives Worcester a five-metre scrum. They are closing in on a fifth try to put the match to bed.

More on try: Is the comeback on? Doncaster get the first points of the second half with a try from Ben Hunter who was dragged over the whitewash. Referee Andy Brace stopped Douglas Flockhard from taking the conversion as he felt the wing took too long over it – never seen that before.
