JAMIE Shillcock will start at full-back for Warriors in Saturday’s Gallagher Premiership match against defending champions Harlequins at The Stoop (kick-off 3pm).
Shillcock, who came off the bench in last week’s victory over London Irish at Sixways, replaces Melani Nanai who had a sore Achilles tendon after that match.
Shillcock’s inclusion is the only change to Warriors’ starting XV with Nanai named among the replacements this week along with fly-half Billy Searle who was not in the matchday squad last weekend.
Wales international hooker Scott Baldwin makes a swift return to The Stoop having joined Warriors from Harlequins during the summer.
Baldwin started for Harlequins in last season’s Premiership final victory over Exeter Chiefs at Twickenham and Saturday’s match will be their first at The Stoop as champions.
Warriors last two away wins in the Premiership have both come at The Stoop, against Harlequins in November 2019 when Shillcock scored a late try, and against London Irish, who were using the ground as a temporary base, in September 2020.
