WORCESTER Warriors’ fans are set for a day out at Twickenham after being selected as part of the London Double Header.

Dean Ryan’s men will take on reigning Aviva Premiership champions Saracens at the national stadium on Saturday, November 28.

The hotly-anticipated game will kick off at 3.15pm and will be followed by a clash between London Irish and Wasps at 5.30pm.

Warriors chief executive Jim O’Toole hailed their selection as a ‘major coup’ for the club, which secured promotion from the Greene King IPA Championship in May.

“I have no doubt our supporters will get behind us and travel to London in their thousands to cheer us on,” he said.

“The London Double Header stands out as one of the biggest weekends of the Aviva Premiership season so it will be a huge honour for everyone involved in the game.

“It is also the first match to be held at Twickenham after the Rugby World Cup final, which will make it an even bigger occasion.”

Tickets for the London Double Header are available through Ticketmaster from just £24 for adults and £10 for children.
