WARRIORS will open this season’s Anglo-Welsh Cup campaign with the visit of Sale Sharks.
Director of rugby Gary Gold’s men will welcome Sharks to Sixways on Friday, November 3 (kick-off 7.45pm), before facing Harlequins on either November 10, 11 or 12 at Twickenham Stoop.
In round three, Warriors will host Exeter Chiefs on either January 26, 27 or 28, before rounding off the group stage with a trip to Wales to take on Dragons at Rodney Parade on either February 2, 4 or 5.
Worcester have been drawn in Pool C of the competition alongside Northampton Saints, Saracens and Scarlets, with all four teams taking on the four sides from Pool B to determine who will progress to the knockout stages.
Last season’s campaign saw Warriors defeat Bristol and Cardiff Blues, but defeats to Wasps and Harlequins saw them just miss out on qualification.
The semi-finals of the tournament will take place on the second weekend of March, with the final taking place the weekend after.
